Allow me to preface this by apologizing for any perception of art skills (of which I have few)
Okay, now that’s out of the way, I suppose I should talk about the picture :P
A few weeks ago, I’d jotted down a couple lines of text that when I looked at it, they suddenly looked an awful lot like a good beginning for a Kamen Rider W fic. So I expanded it, and started to think of where it might progress.
Everything comes back to Detective Conan for me ^_^;;;;;;;;
It never actually got that far… I have about a page and a half handwritten, on that story. And then I couldn’t figure out where to make it go from there, so I left it as a completed *thing*. Of course, that’s less than satisfying, since it had the potential to cross with other Kamen Rider series and/or Detective Conan (see what I did there? :P)
Then I had an odd thought this morning, the result of which you see above. Yes, Shinichi (intentionally NOT Conan!) is in Philip’s spot. Once I got going, it really went… with characters filling slots, but unfortunately no actual story :/. Some characters seem to work better than others, and I would love to have somewhere to go with it.
I don’t think it’ll happen, although it might. One thing that particularly concerns me is that the idle thinking took me in directions I’m still not sure I was prepared to go. I may gather the courage to discuss them later, but for now I’m content with this much.
